David J. Williams
David J. Williams is a Co-Founder of Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”), which is the manager of TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I. Mr. Williams has over 40 years of investing experience. Prior to NCP, Mr. Williams was a Senior Managing Director at The Tokarz Group Advisers (“TTGA”) overseeing junior capital investments in TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I and MVC Capital, a business development company. Prior to joining TTGA, Mr. Williams founded Fifth Third Bank’s Mezzanine Finance Group. As a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Fifth Third Mezzanine Finance Group, Mr. Williams also led the efforts to establish Fifth Third’s Private Placements product. While at Fifth Third, Mr. Williams was responsible for the entire mezzanine finance product line including oversight of investment professionals. Mr. Williams is a graduate of Wittenberg University.
Harrison S. Mullin
Harrison S. Mullin is a Co-Founder of Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”), which is the manager of TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I. Mr. Mullin has over 30 years of investing experience. Prior to NCP, Mr. Mullin was a Managing Director at The Tokarz Group Advisers (“TTGA”) overseeing junior capital investments in TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I and MVC Capital, a business development company. Mr. Mullin previously worked at Fifth Third Bank where he was a Managing Director in the Mezzanine Finance Group. While at Fifth Third, Mr. Mullin led more than 70 mezzanine deals, representing over $400 million of junior capital investments. Prior to Fifth Third, Mr. Mullin was a Principal at NetRoadshow (Yahoo!NetRoadshow). Mr. Mullin started his finance career at Dillon Read & Co. Mr. Mullin is a graduate of Trinity College and received his MBA from Xavier University.
David Gardner
David Gardner is a Partner of Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”) and has over 15 years of investment experience. Prior to NCP, Mr. Gardner was a Director at The Tokarz Group Advisers (“TTGA”) focusing on junior capital investments in TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I and MVC Capital, a business development company. Mr. Gardner previously worked at Fifth Third Bank, where he assisted in making direct mezzanine investments in lower middle market companies. While at Fifth Third, Mr. Gardner was also an analyst within the Private Placements group where he helped underwrite and market private debt securities to institutional investors. Mr. Gardner graduated from the University of Cincinnati and is a CFA & CAIA Charterholder.
Scott foote
Scott Foote is a Partner of Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”). Mr. Foote joined the NCP team in 2011 when the group was managing mezzanine investments at Fifth Third Bank. Since that time, Mr. Foote has been responsible for managing debt and equity investments in TTGA SBIC Pioneer Fund I, MVC Capital, and PPC Enterprises, a $1.5 billion private equity fund. Mr. Foote has served on the board of directors at five private companies in various industries, including digital marketing technology, manufacturing and construction, and automotive. While at Fifth Third, Mr. Foote also worked as an analyst within the Private Placements group where he helped underwrite and market private debt securities to large, institutional investors. Mr. Foote received a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Garrett Havighurst
Garrett Havighurst is a Financial Analyst at Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”). Prior to joining NCP in 2024, Mr. Havighurst was a Senior Fund Accountant at SS&C Technologies, where he worked in fund administration for direct lending funds in excess of $1B AUM. Mr. Havighurst received a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio State University.
brad east
Brad East is the VP Finance of Navigate Capital Partners (“NCP”) and has over three decades of experience in public accounting working with private equity and debt funds and their portfolio companies. Prior to NCP, Mr. East served as an audit and consulting partner in four Top 100 CPA firms. He initiated the private equity and debt fund audit practice in Cincinnati and developed the accounting and tax outsourced operations practice for a fund family of thirty-one funds with total capital commitments in excess of $2.5 billion. He also performed quality of earnings engagements for platform and add-on acquisitions and has significant experience in family offices. Mr. East is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio with an Accredited in Business Valuation designation granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
